I’m one of those rare breeds – a born and bred Calgarian. I’m a husband, father to three daughters and grandfather to two mischievous boys.
I’ve been fascinated by photography ever since my dad gave me my first Brownie camera. Through the years, I’ve embraced the steep learning curve of working with light and the art of taking a good picture. There is, I’ve discovered, no such thing as the perfect picture because no two people ever have the same reaction to the finished product.
I am a retired social worker by profession and that’s helped me collaborate with a broad range of people. I keep learning, from the business and my clients. Having started the Michael Brager Photography studio about six years ago mainly for portrait photography, I have continued to enjoy landscape photography as well as film photography and film development. Nothing like old school analogue in this digital age…
We look forward to meeting you.
